Diana Adams
Adviser

Ms. Diana Adams has taught English and journalism at American Heritage for 26 years. In addition to the print and online newspapers, she advises yearbook and literary art magazine as well as teaches journalism and creative writing. Ms. Adams also advises the Quill and Scroll Society. In her rare free time, she enjoys reading science fiction and mysteries.

Nina Gonçalves Vieira

Sophomore Nina Gonçalves Vieira is excited to be in her second year on the Literary Magazine. She is enjoying being co-editor this year! Besides reading and writing, Nina also plays for the varsity Lacrosse team, an active volunteer and member of the CISV Junior Board, a staffer of the newspaper, ICC representative for Dead Poets Society, and a teacher for TASSEL.  

Lindsay Cohen

Lindsay Cohen is a senior and is enjoying her last year on the Expressions Literary Magazine! When she’s not designing pages for the magazine, Lindsay is an active volunteer for the Big Brother Big Sister organization and Co-Vice President of the Student Government Association. Outside of school, you can find her listening to show tunes and hanging out with friends and her cat!

Emma Kolb is a senior who has been going to American Heritage since kindergarten. Each year, she likes to try a new extracurricular and over the past few years, she grew an intense love for poetry and English of all sorts. Since she wanted to experiment with as many English-related activities as possible, she found the amazing elective, literary magazine. She also really loves acting, singing, and makeup.

Cyrus Hernandez is a sophomore at American Heritage School. He is a member of the school’s fencing club and partakes in various school activities. Outside of school, Cyrus can be found either writing or trying to enjoy life.
