Biography

My name is Elizabeth Cook, and I am a junior. When I am not in school, I love to read and spend time with my family and friends. When I’m at school, I’m immersed in preparing for my favorite pre-med related competition, HOSA.

Why did you choose to submit this category(s) of artwork/writing out of the many available category options?

I chose this category because I love writing poetry pieces and wanted a challenge with the pattern.

What message do you hope to convey through your piece?

I hope that my piece resonates with all the people who feel like they’ve lost someone, even when the person isn’t really gone.
