HURRICANE

Hurricane winds swirl

Beating down the lone palm tree

Yet it does not yield

BIO:

I am a junior involved in the robotics team as one of the directors. I am also a part of the Pre-Engineering Society. In my free time, I enjoy reading, building Legos and writing confusing sci-fi stories.

What is your main source of inspiration?

My main source of inspiration is the world around me. The people close to me and their stories, as well as just the natural events of the world, both provide me with lots of writing ideas.

Do you write sporadically or regularly?

I write very sporadically. My writing output depends purely on what kind of mood I’m in. I can go a few weeks without writing a single word, and then one night inspiration strikes, and I stay up all night writing.

What is your ideal writing environment?

My ideal writing environment is one that is free of any distractions. So, preferably, as far away from my phone as possible. I do like a setting with a lot of light and some ambient noise, so that it’s not just dead silence.
