Jonahs 1st day
By Alexander Ngo

Biography
My name is Alex Ngo and I am in my freshman year. I’ve found the arts, especially creative writing, to be a great passion of mine. For this reason, I am part of the Writer’s Circle club. I also draw digitally in my free time as well.
What is your main source of inspiration?
When I want to write, I take inspiration from the things I love.
What motivated you to write this piece?
I love my little sister, and she is autistic. I wrote my children’s book to help spread knowledge about autistic people like her.
What message do you hope to convey through your piece?
When people read my book, I want them to take away that people with autism exist, and that they deserve proper accomodations. If the reader takes away one thing, then it should be this: Autistic kids are different from other kids, and that needs to be accounted for, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t as smart or emotional or caring as other kids.
