My name is Nicholas Kwok and I enjoy writing and science research. With a passion for health-related extracurriculars and poetry, I spend most of my time advancing these skills. My favorite hobbies are listening to different kinds of music, collecting albums, and figure skating. Outside of writing-related activities, I participate actively in extracurriculars ranging from Dead Poet’s Society to Key Club to tennis. I hope to positively impact others through writing by promoting creativity and inspiring future generations.
What is your main source of inspiration?
My main source of inspiration typically arises from nature: seasons, flowers, and animals. I enjoy writing about natural life because it gives me a sense of appreciation for the world we live in. It allows me to stop and think about the natural beauty offered by Mother Nature, providing me with a sense of tranquility when writing.
What message do you hope to convey through your piece?
I hope to convey the message of appreciation of the natural world through my writing pieces. My goal is to instill a sense of calmness and descriptive imagery in my work. I want individuals to pay attention to the planet we live on whenever they can, contrasting from their busy lives.
What is your ideal writing environment?
My ideal writing environment is a comfortable and quiet area where I can collect my thoughts and emotions. I enjoy a tranquil environment because it allows me to immerse myself in a peaceful setting. This helps me with describing and creating metaphors in my writing pieces.
