Felipe Salvador (grade 9)

My name is Felipe, and I am a freshman. Out of school I like to focus on creative projects such as drawing like this one and enjoy playing sports. In school my favorite classes are engineering and architecture.

what is your main source of inspiration?

Current events, things in my camera roll, objects around me, and works made by others.

What motivated you to write this piece?

The Russia-Ukraine war being a major event motivated me to create this and wanting to explore political cartoons.

what message do you hope to convey to the reader through your piece?

The lack of action by NATO in a war they partly caused and the USA’s sideline role in the conflict.
