Biography

My name is Huiyuan Yang and I am a sophomore. When I am not in school, I like to play golf and play piano.

What motivated you to write this piece?

This was inspired by Mount Fuji in Japan.

Why did you choose to submit this category(s) of artwork/writing out of the many available category options?

I chose haiku because I love the Japanese culture, and I wanted to experiment with their culture and Mount Fuji.
