BIO:

Jason Cheng likes to play chess sometimes and he mainly plays ping-pong and basketball now for sports. Also, probably along with all boys his age, he likes to play video games.

What is your main source of inspiration?

My main source of inspiration was the novels that I’ve read. I felt like fire appears in many of the novels that I’ve read, and, in some novels, fire is represented as a polar opposite of itself compared to other novels.

What is your ideal writing environment?

My ideal writing environment is listening to music while working in a quiet location. It helps you concentrate on your thought process.

What message do you hope to convey to the reader through your piece?

I hope to convey that many things around us have dual personalities and character traits. I hope that we can see more than just one side of something in order to take that whole thing into consideration.
